I am happy to work
with you on a custom portrait of your dog.
I work on gallery wrapped stretched canvas with acrylic paints. Portraits are sold unframed and are intended to be hung that way, but you can, of course, frame it if you wish. Portraits take about four weeks, but can take more or less time to complete depending on the time of year and demand. Please email and I can give you a more accurate estimate of current completion times. Gift Certificates are also available for gift giving.
How it works:
1. Email me 3-5 photos and most importantly a description of your dog's personality. Information on how I choose which photos to use is here. Don’t worry about the background of your photos. If you like the style of a specific painting on my site, or if you have requests for a specific background color please let me know. A 50% deposit is due at this time.
2. I compose the painting based on the photos you send. I will show you the image and we will discuss the background color(s) before I start drawing.
3. I hand draw the image on the canvas and
paint away. My paintings are all hand drawn and painted by me.
4. Upon completion I send a photo of the finished portrait. The remaining 50% is due before shipment.

Shipping charges are additional. You can expect $10 to $30 depending on size of the canvas. I can ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
